Welcome to the Year 2 Page!
Year 2 is made up of Mrs S Jones (Teacher), Mrs K Jones (TA), Mr Blenkinsop (Friday Teacher) and 23 wonderful children.
We've had such a fantastic year, and as the end of term approaches we're as busy as ever...
We're visiting Madley Environmental Centre on Wed 7th July to explore local habitats. This is part of this term's topic "All Around us".
As we've worked so hard all year (and Mrs Jones is extremely proud of how well the children have done in their KS1 SATs!) we're going on a special end of term treat on Friday 16th July to Perrygrove Railway - we can't wait!
Mrs Jones would like to congratulate the whole of Year 2 on a brilliant assembly last week that showcased all the amazing work Year 2 have been doing recently - they were all superstars!
All the children have grown up so much over the last year and are really ready for Year 3 now. Good luck everyone!
Mrs Jones is leaving the school at the end of this term and we all wish her a very happy retirement.
